G4Green Ecosystem Protection Charter
Protection of Affiliated Ecosystem Members · Version 1.0
This Charter sets out the principles under which G4Green operates in relation to Ecosystem Members ("Green Stars") affiliated with one or more Green Leaders. Its purpose is to ensure that such affiliation does not expose Ecosystem Members or their data to uncontrolled communication, commercial exploitation, or misuse.
Purpose
This G4Green Ecosystem Protection Charter (the "Charter") sets out the principles under which G4Green operates in relation to Ecosystem Members ("Green Stars") affiliated with one or more Green Leaders. The purpose of this Charter is to ensure that such affiliation does not expose Ecosystem Members or their data to uncontrolled communication, commercial exploitation, or misuse, and that the integrity of the ecosystem remains protected at all times.
Scope
This Charter applies exclusively to Ecosystem Members that are affiliated with at least one Green Leader within G4Green. All protections and restrictions defined herein are activated upon affiliation and remain in effect for the duration of such affiliation.
Ecosystem Integrity and Non-Exploitation
G4Green shall not use affiliated Ecosystem Members or their participation within an ecosystem as a means of commercial exploitation. No unsolicited commercial outreach, promotional messaging, or solicitation shall be directed at affiliated Ecosystem Members by G4Green. G4Green shall not introduce third-party advertising or external commercial content into the ecosystem environment.
Commercial Communication Restrictions
G4Green shall not initiate commercial communication with any affiliated Ecosystem Member. Any commercial interaction with an affiliated Ecosystem Member may occur only where: • explicitly initiated by the Ecosystem Member, or • conducted within the context of voluntary platform participation and clearly defined platform features. Under no circumstances shall affiliation alone be interpreted as consent to receive commercial communication.
Protection Against Commercial Pressure
G4Green shall not engage in practices that may constitute business harassment or undue commercial pressure. Affiliated Ecosystem Members shall not be subject to repeated unsolicited contact, forced upgrades, or persistent commercial solicitation. All engagement shall remain proportionate, respectful, and aligned with the purpose of enabling sustainability action.
Data Protection and Confidentiality
G4Green shall ensure that all data relating to affiliated Ecosystem Members is handled in a secure and confidential manner. Individual company data shall not be disclosed, shared, sold, or otherwise made accessible to third parties without the explicit consent of the respective Ecosystem Member. G4Green shall implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect such data against unauthorised access, misuse, or manipulation.
Aggregated Ecosystem Insights
Any reporting or insights generated at the ecosystem level shall be strictly limited to aggregated and anonymised data. Such information shall not permit the identification of individual Ecosystem Members and shall serve solely to illustrate collective progress and performance within the ecosystem.
Separation of Visibility and Credibility
G4Green shall maintain a clear distinction between platform visibility and sustainability credibility. Enhanced visibility features may be provided within the platform; however, such visibility shall be transparently indicated and shall not be interpreted as a reflection of sustainability performance. Sustainability credibility shall be based solely on structured and, where applicable, verified data.
Verification Integrity
Ecosystem Members may request verification of sustainability claims. Such verification shall be conducted independently and objectively. Payment for verification shall not guarantee any specific outcome. All claims shall be clearly designated as "Verified" or "Not Verified," and G4Green shall assume responsibility exclusively for verified data.
Incentive-Based Engagement
G4Green may provide incentives, including access to premium features or memberships, in recognition of sustainability actions, engagement, or contribution to ecosystem activation. Such incentives shall be offered within the platform environment and shall not constitute unsolicited commercial outreach. Participation in such mechanisms shall remain voluntary and shall not create any obligation for the Ecosystem Member.
Platform Neutrality
G4Green shall operate as a neutral infrastructure and shall not grant preferential treatment to any Ecosystem Member based on financial contribution, organisational size, or external influence. All participants shall be subject to the same structural logic and rules.
Voluntary Participation
Participation in the ecosystem shall remain voluntary at all times. Affiliated Ecosystem Members may manage their participation and may disengage from the ecosystem at their discretion.
Transparency and Accountability
G4Green shall operate in a manner that is transparent, explainable, and accountable in relation to the handling of ecosystem data and interactions. Green Leaders may request reasonable transparency regarding the operation of the platform within their ecosystem, without compromising the confidentiality of individual Ecosystem Members.
Commitment
G4Green commits to operating as a non-intrusive and trustworthy enabler of ecosystem-driven sustainability engagement. Affiliation with a Green Leader shall not expose Ecosystem Members to commercial exploitation, uncontrolled communication, or loss of data control.
"Affiliation within G4Green shall protect Ecosystem Members — not expose them."
